Article summary

(Release Date - July 29, 2024)

This Release Note provides details on the additions and updates done to the Pulse application released on July 29, 2024. In-depth information on Pulse application is available in the Pulse Client Document.

Enhancements

Set Default Health Check Assessment Period

Pulse allows overriding the system default duration for assessing the customer-brand relationship in the Health Check page (default is set to 28 days) and set that duration as the default for the user profile via the Default Configuration dialog which can be accessed by clicking the gear icon displayed in the CONFIGURE dropdown. When the user subsequently loads the Health Check page, Pulse will display the data visualizations according to the updated default duration.

Schedule Automatic Export of Health Check Data Visualizations

Pulse allows setting up an automated process in the Health Check page to periodically generate and email PDF files from the selected reports to the user via the Download Now or Schedule an Automatic Export dialog which can be accessed by clicking on the Download option in the Health Check page.

Change Pulse Application to Adjust Screen Size

Pulse application was upgraded to allow the application to adjust the width of its display according to the size of the PC display screen so that the users can view the Pulse data visualizations without horizontal scrolling.

Include HealthScore Ranges in the KPIs Page

The HealthScore tile component in the KPIs Page was improved to include the range of values taken by the HealthScore of the brand.

Display Warning Message for Potential Values for Inactive Segments

Pulse will display a warning message to indicate that the display of lost and actual values for inactive segments is only applicable for the Total Transactions report and Total Revenue report. The warning message will be displayed at the top of the Pulse screen when the Lost and Actual option is selected from the Values for Inactive Segments submenu and applied from the CONFIGURE dropdown in Health Check reports page.

Using Zebra Striping to Improve Clarity

Pulse uses 'zebra striping' (using two shades alternately) in the lists and tables to enhance clarity.

Improving Design Consistency in Health Check Page

The design of the Health Check page has been tweaked to improve the consistency of the data visualizations. The height of the Health Check reports was changed so that the report will not have too much white space above the graph.

Reducing the Delay on Resetting Customer Flows Page

The delay to reset the Customer Flows view via the Reset View option has been significantly reduced.

Rounding Values to Two Decimal Points

All values displayed in Pulse application will be rounded to a maximum of two decimal places.

Bugs

The following bugs are in the Health Check page.

  • The missing currency sign in the Total Revenue report.

  • The display of erroneous information (i.e., null and negative numbers in graphs that should only have positive numbers).

  • In some Health Check reports the coordinates along the X-axis and Y-axis are overlapping.
